David Upchurch

David Upchurch entered the financial services industry in 2006 as a top producer with New York Life in St. Augustine, FL. In 2014, he strategically partnered with LPL Financial, the largest independent broker dealer in the nation*, offering focused and holistic planning for their clients.

In 2018, David and business partner Tyler Corn, formed Upchurch and Corn Advisors with office locations in St. Augustine and Jacksonville, Florida. David holds his Series 7 and 66 registrations through LPL Financial, and 2-15 license.

David is a graduate of the Love School of Business at Elon University, NC. Upon graduation, David moved home to St. Augustine where his family resides. He is a fourth generation native St. Augustinian, where most of his family worked in the field of law and education.

David married his wife Carey in 2017, and they enjoy traveling and settling into their life together with their children Charlie and Gabe. When David is not in the company of family and friends, he serves as a board member for Ancient City Soccer and the UF Health St. Johns Foundation.  He is also the former President and a current board member of the St. Augustine Rotary Club, of which, his father, grandfather and great grandfather were all members. David and Carey are also members of Colonial Church.
